For fine grating of vegetables, fruits and herbs, this ceramic grater is super sharp, efficient and easy to use. Perfect for ginger, carrots, and even citrus peel. Won't discolor or rust.

For garlic: Hold the clove between your thumb and index finger with the root pointing up and the tip pointing down. Grate the garlic over the bottom of the dish, back and forth or in circles. As you do this the garlic forms a pulp in the dish, with the help of your brush. Working from the outside in, the pulp will collect in the center of the dish. Simply turn the dish upside down to release your fresh garlic! Always rinse the grater under cold running water before you either wash it by hand or put it into the dishwasher.

 Fresh ginger is one of the more difficult herbs to cook with due to it’s fibrous nature. With the Organic Grater, it makes cooking with ginger a breeze! Follow these instructions for ginger and you will not be disappointed! First run the grater under cold water. Tilting the ginger slightly, start the grating, you can use a back and forth motion or going around the dish in a circular motion. Using the same brush technique as you do with garlic, brush the herbs inward towards the center of the dish and turn it upside down to release your fresh ginger!

Remember to moisten or to lightly oil the surface of the Organic Grater when working with products that release water.
